Mt. Royal Printing, a fourth-generation commercial printer based in Baltimore, acquired Westland Enterprises in a transaction that closed June 30, 2023. The acquisition expands Mt. Royal’s presence in the Washington, D.C. market and broadens its print, packaging, direct mail and fulfillment capabilities.

Southeastern Printing, a Florida-based provider of integrated print, fulfillment, and promotional solutions, has acquired Sunbelt (including Sunbelt Graphics and Sunbelt Dimensional) to add dimensional print, structural design, and specialty packaging capabilities. The move expands Southeastern's end-to-end offering for brand campaigns, kitting, fulfillment and digital storefront services across retail, healthcare and other enterprise customers.

Lakeside Book Company Acquires Marquis Book Printing, Inc.

Lakeside Book Company has acquired all issued and outstanding shares of Marquis Book Printing, Inc., with Marquis becoming a division of Lakeside. The acquisition gives Lakeside direct access to the Canadian market (including English and French-speaking regions), adds Marquis' production and logistics footprint and roughly 600 employees, and aims to improve lead times and service capabilities for publishers.

Sun Print Solutions Acquires Plumb Marketing

The transaction, arranged by Graphic Arts Advisors, will expand Sun Print Solutions' geographic footprint and capacity — including enhanced political print and mail capabilities — while Plumb Marketing's owners (the Epps) will remain engaged during the transition.

Skyhorse Publishing Acquires Regnery Publishing from Salem Media Group

Skyhorse Publishing has agreed to acquire Regnery Publishing from Salem Media Group, with the transaction expected to close by year-end. Salem said the sale will place the longtime conservative publisher under Skyhorse’s stewardship, while Skyhorse plans to absorb Regnery’s more than 1,500 titles into its catalogue and operate Regnery as an imprint.
