PresenceLearning Raises $27M Series D Led by Bain Capital Double Impact

PresenceLearning, a provider of live online special-education services and teletherapy for K-12 schools, raised $27 million in a Series D growth round led by Bain Capital Double Impact with participation from Catalyst Investors, New Markets Venture Partners and Catamount Ventures. The capital will be used to accelerate expansion of PresenceLearning’s online therapy, assessment and professional-development offerings to meet increased demand from school districts, particularly amid COVID-19-related remote learning needs.
