Aberdeen-based Centurion Group completed four strategic acquisitions in 2023 — Blue Drop Solutions Inc., RioView Industries Inc., Whitetail Energy Services Inc., and BBB Remote Site Services — to expand its operational footprint and service capabilities in water/wastewater, remote camp accommodations and rental services across Canada and Australia. The deals are complementary to Centurion's existing rental and services platform and are expected to increase 2023 Group revenue and EBITDA while strengthening presence in key energy, mining and infrastructure markets.

Aalberts N.V. Acquires Sentinel Performance Solutions Group Limited

Aalberts N.V. has agreed to acquire 100% of Sentinel Performance Solutions Group Limited, a Daresbury (United Kingdom) specialist in water quality products for heating and cooling systems that generates approximately GBP 20 million in annual revenue and employs ~60 FTE. The acquisition will integrate Sentinel into Aalberts' Hydronic Flow Control segment to strengthen its product portfolio, drive geographic expansion using Aalberts' sales organization, and establish Sentinel as Aalberts' competence centre for water quality.

Azureon (backed by O2 Investment Partners) Acquires Pelican Pools

Azureon, a pool care platform backed by O2 Investment Partners, has acquired Pelican Pools, a Southampton, New York-based full-service residential pool maintenance and construction company. The add-on expands Azureon's Northeast coverage (notably the Hamptons/Long Island area) and Pelican will continue operating under its existing leadership while retaining significant ownership.

Ovivo Acquires ALAR (Alar Engineering Corporation)

Ovivo Inc., a global water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems provider, has acquired the businesses of Alar Engineering Corporation, Alar Chemical Sales Inc. and Alar Leasing Inc. (together "ALAR"). The acquisition adds ALAR's dewatering equipment, chemical products and Central U.S. presence in Mokena, Illinois, to Ovivo's industrial water capabilities and supports Ovivo's expansion in North American industrial wastewater markets.
