Allegro MicroSystems Acquires Voxtel, Inc. to Boost LiDAR Capabilities

Allegro MicroSystems has acquired Voxtel, Inc., a Beaverton, Oregon-based developer and manufacturer of eye-safe LiDAR and photonic imaging technologies. The acquisition adds Voxtel's lasers, ROICs, and NIR/SWIR photodetectors (and related IP and engineering team) to Allegro's automotive semiconductor portfolio to accelerate ADAS and automotive LiDAR solutions.

Alpine 4 Technologies Acquires Vayu (U.S.), Inc.

Alpine 4 Technologies, Ltd. entered into a binding LOI to acquire Vayu (U.S.), Inc., a maker of hybrid VTOL autonomous aircraft, in a reverse triangular merger that will make Vayu a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal adds VTOL aircraft, autopilot software and expanded capabilities to Alpine 4's aerospace holdings (complementing Impossible Aerospace) and is intended to accelerate medical delivery, infrastructure inspection and other commercial UAV opportunities; Vayu CEO Daniel Pepper will remain in place.

ABAX (Investcorp) Acquires Automile

Investcorp-backed ABAX has acquired Automile, a Nordic telematics and IoT fleet-management provider, to strengthen ABAX’s telematics platform and scale its global footprint. The deal combines complementary telematics portfolios to create one of Europe’s largest telematics players by subscriptions and expands ABAX’s capability and geographic coverage.

Volaris Group Acquires Symbrio AB

Harbinger Motors Acquires Phantom AI

Harbinger Motors acquired autonomous-driving and computer-vision company Phantom AI in November 2025 and will integrate Phantom AI’s technology into its medium-duty electric and hybrid vehicles beginning in 2026. Separately, Phantom AI’s computer vision will be licensed to ZF Group’s ADAS business for passenger car applications; Phantom AI’s ~30-person Mountain View team will continue operating from California.
