BRP Group Acquires National Health Plans & Benefits Agency (NHPBA)

BRP Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRP) acquired substantially all the assets of National Health Plans & Benefits Agency, LLC (NHPBA), a Fraser, Michigan-based provider of individual health insurance products. NHPBA brings ~50 colleagues, approximately $11.4 million of revenue and a growing Medicare practice, and will operate within BRP Group's Guided Solutions operating group.

NFP Acquires Emphasis Benefits

NFP has acquired Pinetree Capital LLC dba Emphasis Benefits, an employee benefits brokerage based in Coral Springs, Florida, to expand its group benefits capabilities and footprint in Florida. Emphasis Benefits founder and firm principal Todd Brown will join NFP as a senior vice president reporting to William Austin, strengthening NFP's ability to serve middle-market employers that have migrated to or established a presence in Florida.
