The Stephens Group, a private investment firm, has acquired Sound Seal Holdings, Inc., an Agawam, Massachusetts-based manufacturer of acoustical noise control products. Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners sold its investment in Sound Seal; the Stephens Group said the acquisition will support Sound Seal's organic and acquisitive growth under its existing management team.

Sound Seal, a portfolio company of The Stephens Group, has acquired Flemington, New Jersey-based Acoustical & Tackable Surfaces, Inc. (ATS). The add-on strengthens Sound Seal’s architectural division by adding ATS’s acoustical wall and ceiling panel manufacturing and installation capabilities, with ATS founder Scott Randolph joining Sound Seal in a business development role.

Timberlab Acquires American Laminators

The deal expands Timberlab’s in-house capacity for engineered glulam columns and beams, providing greater price certainty, vertical integration and the ability to offer more competitive mass-timber packages across the U.S.

Abet Laminati Acquires Fiberesin Industries

Solotech Acquires Pro Sound, Inc.

(Solotech) has acquired Pro Sound, Inc. — including its SEAL brand and affiliates Pro Sound CA, Inc. and Show Systems, Inc. — expanding Solotech’s systems-integration, live production and equipment capabilities across the United States. The deal brings Pro Sound’s Miami headquarters and offices in Orlando, Pensacola and Los Angeles into Solotech’s global footprint, reinforcing Solotech’s position in North American AV integration and live-event services.
