AEA Investors' middle-market private equity team has closed the acquisition of Window Nation Holding, LLC from Cortec Group. Window Nation, a direct-to-consumer provider of replacement windows and exterior doors headquartered in Fulton, Maryland, operates across 15 U.S. markets and has ~550 employees; AEA will partner with the founders to drive the company's next phase of growth.

MITER Brands Acquires PGT Innovations

Leaf Home Solutions Acquires Storm Tight Windows

Leaf Home Solutions, a Gridiron Capital–backed, tech-enabled direct-to-consumer home solutions platform, has acquired Storm Tight Windows to expand its Leaf Home Enhancements brand and strengthen its impact-window presence in South Florida. Angle Advisors served as exclusive investment banking advisor on the transaction. Storm Tight is a regional leader in Category 5 hurricane-rated, Miami-Dade-approved impact windows and has installed more than one million windows over a decade in South Florida.

MITER Brands (MIWD Holding) Acquires PGT Innovations

MIWD Holding Company LLC (doing business as MITER Brands) completed the acquisition of PGT Innovations, Inc.; PGTI stockholders received $42.00 per share and PGTI common stock has been delisted from the NYSE. The transaction was financed in part by an equity investment from an affiliate of Koch Equity Development LLC and was supported by committed debt financing from KeyBanc and RBC Capital Markets.

MI Windows and Doors Acquires Sunrise Windows from The Riverside Company

Sunrise, a Temperance, Michigan-based manufacturer of custom vinyl replacement windows founded in 1994, was grown under Riverside (including a 71,000 sq. ft. facility expansion) and will join MI’s portfolio to expand product offering and dealer reach across the U.S.
