The deal strengthens Bureau Veritas' capabilities in renewables, offshore wind, hydrogen and other low-carbon energy solutions, adding Versatec’s expertise in commissioning, asset due diligence, operational assurance and digital smart solutions.

Bureau Veritas Acquires Security Innovation Inc.

Bureau Veritas has signed an agreement to acquire Security Innovation Inc., a US-based software security consulting firm headquartered in Boston. The deal adds ~95 specialists and EUR 21 million of 2023 revenue to Bureau Veritas' cybersecurity capabilities and establishes a new cybersecurity hub in the US; closing is expected in Q3 2024.

Bureau Veritas Acquires Majority Stake in C.A.P. Government, Inc.

(CAP), a South Florida-based provider of building department services with more than 250 professionals and approximately €25 million in 2021 revenue. The acquisition strengthens Bureau Veritas' Asset Lifecycle capabilities in the Buildings & Infrastructure market and will see CAP continue to operate from its Coral Gables headquarters under CEO Carlos A. Penin.

The APP Group brings more than 500 employees, access to over 200 specialist sub-consultants and reported €87 million in 2023 revenue, enhancing Bureau Veritas' project management, construction management and independent verification capabilities.
