Five9, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Inference Solutions, a widely deployed Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) platform, to expand its AI-driven self-service and IVA capabilities. The deal strengthens Five9’s AI leadership, broadens its global footprint (including operations in Australia), and adds marquee service-provider relationships; the transaction was expected to close by January 5, 2021.

Pegasystems Acquires Infruid Labs

Pegasystems Inc. announced the asset purchase of Infruid Labs, a business analytics and data visualization software company, to integrate Infruid’s consumer-grade interactive visualization capabilities into the Pega Platform. Infruid’s founder, Mahesh Yellai, joined Pega as senior director, data & analytics, and the capabilities are planned to debut as part of Pega’s new BI offering at PegaWorld 2019.

Reveal Acquires NexLP

Reveal Data Corporation has acquired NexLP, an AI-driven eDiscovery software provider, and will integrate NexLP's Story Engine AI and data science team into Reveal's review platform. Jay Leib, NexLP co-founder and CEO, joins Reveal as EVP of Innovation & Strategy; terms were not disclosed and Reveal — which is majority-owned by Gallant Capital Partners — worked with Houlihan Lokey and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth on the transaction.

RealPage Acquires Rexera to Accelerate AI Innovation

RealPage, an AI-enabled real estate software provider, has acquired Rexera, an agentic AI firm that automates real estate transaction workflows. The acquisition will combine Rexera's AI workforce with RealPage's HomeWiseDocs platform to expand automated capabilities for title agents, lenders and escrow officers across HOA document retrieval, lien searches, mortgage payoffs and compliance workflows.
