Mandata Acquires Stirling Solutions

LDC-backed Mandata has added Stirling Solutions to form the newly created Mandata Group, combining the two transport management software businesses to serve around 2,000 customers and a combined ~120 employees. Jonathan Ball remains managing director of Stirling and joins the Mandata Group board as the companies integrate their TMS capabilities.

Mandata Acquires Returnloads.net

Northumberland-based transport management software provider Mandata has acquired Returnloads.net, the UK's largest online haulage and freight exchange, in a deal funded by LDC with debt facilities from Santander. The acquisition will expand Mandata's digital services and customer base by integrating Returnloads.net's load-matching marketplace with Mandata's transport management platform.

Tenet Acquires Pallet's TMS Business

Tenet has acquired Pallet’s Transportation Management System (TMS) business and used the technology to launch a unified operating system for cartage, courier, and expedited carriers. Pallet shifted its focus to AI agents for logistics and divested the TMS business to Tenet, which will integrate dispatch, warehouse, driver app, invoicing and line-haul capabilities into its platform.

Claranet Acquires Mandic Cloud Solutions

Claranet, the UK-based cloud and cybersecurity services provider, has acquired Brazilian cloud specialist Mandic (Mandic Cloud Solutions) in a transaction that marks a near-complete exit for investors Riverwood Capital and Oria (with Riverwood retaining under 5%). The deal — value not disclosed — brings Mandic's customers and capabilities into Claranet's Brazil operation (which will have ~R$250 million in revenue and ~450 employees post-deal); Mandic founder Aleksander Mandic sold his remaining stake and CEO Maurício Cascão stays on.
