Bruker Corporation Acquires Inscopix, Inc.

Bruker Corporation has acquired Inscopix, Inc., a Mountain View–based developer of miniaturized head-mounted microscopes (miniscopes) for freely moving animal brain imaging. The acquisition integrates Inscopix’s miniscope platform and analysis pipeline with Bruker’s preclinical imaging and multiphoton microscopy capabilities to expand Bruker’s in-vivo neural functional imaging offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

Lantheus Acquires Life Molecular Imaging from Life Healthcare

Lantheus Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Life Molecular Imaging Ltd., a subsidiary of Life Healthcare Group Holdings Ltd., gaining the Neuraceq (florbetaben F18) commercial product, expanded Alzheimer’s radiodiagnostic infrastructure, and additional R&D capabilities. As part of the transaction, Dr. Ludger Dinkelborg (formerly CEO of Life Molecular) will join Lantheus as Head of Research & Development, reporting to the CEO.

Novartis Acquires Amblyotech to Develop Digital Therapy for Amblyopia

Novartis will collaborate with Ubisoft and McGill University to develop engaging games and advance clinical development toward regulatory approval, aiming to expand its ophthalmology digital-therapy capabilities.
