Brainlab Acquires Majority Stake in medPhoton

Brainlab has completed a majority acquisition of medPhoton GmbH, a Salzburg-based developer and manufacturer of robotic intraoperative imaging solutions, including the Loop-X mobile imaging robot. The deal brings medPhoton into the Brainlab Group to accelerate R&D, expand production capabilities in Salzburg, and broaden application areas such as radiotherapy and intraoperative radiation therapy.
