A-Z Bus Sales, an employee-owned transportation dealer headquartered in Colton, California, has acquired Blue Star Bus Sales, the long-running Blue Bird dealer based in Lubbock, Texas. Blue Star will continue operating under the same name and location while its employees join A-Z Bus; the deal expands A-Z's presence in West Texas and strengthens its school-bus sales, parts and service footprint including alternative-fuel/electric offerings.

Vital's founders will join Alliance Fleet's leadership team and retain an ownership stake as the combined company pursues a national dropship upfitting facility network to accelerate delivery and expand geographic coverage.
