Symphony Technology Group-Led Consortium Acquires Momentive (SurveyMonkey) for $1.5B

A consortium led by private equity firm Symphony Technology Group (STG) has agreed to acquire Momentive, the maker of SurveyMonkey, in an all-cash transaction valuing the company at approximately $1.5 billion. Momentive shareholders will receive $9.46 per share; the deal takes Momentive private and is intended to support product and capability expansion under STG's ownership.
