Macquarie Capital and Advencap Acquire Majority Stake in CloudExtel

Macquarie Capital has acquired a majority stake in Excel Telesonic India Private Limited (CloudExtel), a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider in India, with Advencap joining the investor consortium. The investment will provide capital to scale CloudExtel's telecommunications infrastructure — particularly small cells, fibre and virtualized network offerings — to support growing data demand and 5G rollout across India.

Kinaxis Acquires MPO

Kinaxis Inc. acquired MPO, a European-headquartered provider of a cloud-based SaaS platform for multi-party orchestration of orders, inventory and transportation, in a deal that closed August 15, 2022 for approximately $45 million (about 75% cash, 25% equity). The acquisition adds multi‑enterprise visibility, order management and transportation management to Kinaxis’ RapidResponse planning platform to deliver end-to-end concurrent planning through execution.

The acquisition expands 1E’s observability and application experience management capabilities—bringing Exoprise’s RUM, synthetics and ISP/UC monitoring into the 1E platform to improve troubleshooting and user-centric performance insights for enterprise customers.

3i Infrastructure plc Acquires Global Cloud Xchange for $512M

3i Infrastructure plc has completed a $512 million acquisition of a 100% stake in Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a global data communications service provider and owner of a large private subsea fiber optic network. 3i Infrastructure said it will partner with GCX management to invest in the platform—expanding capacity, adding routes and services, and pursuing growth across key markets including India, the Middle East and Europe.

MassMutual Acquires Majority Ownership of Port 51 Lending (formerly Exos Small Business Lending)

ExtraHop, a Seattle-based leader in cloud-native network detection and response, has agreed to be acquired by Bain Capital Private Equity and Crosspoint Capital Partners in a transaction valued at $900 million. The deal will keep ExtraHop's CEO Arif Kareem and co-founders in leadership and is intended to accelerate product innovation and growth across multi-cloud, IoT, and enterprise environments.
