Monotype has agreed to acquire URW Type Foundry GmbH from Global Graphics PLC, adding 513 typeface families (including Futura, Franklin Gothic and URW DIN) to its library. The acquisition expands Monotype’s IP and integrates URW designs into Monotype’s Mosaic solution and MyFonts.com to better serve enterprise and design customers.

Togetherwork Acquires Fonteva

Togetherwork, a GI Partners-backed provider of integrated software and payments for member-based organizations, has acquired Fonteva, a Salesforce-based association and event management platform. Fonteva will operate as a business unit within Togetherwork from its Arlington, Virginia headquarters, with Fonteva CRO Pat McGlynn named President and founder Jerry Huskins exiting after a transition period. The deal expands Togetherwork's product and payments capabilities and preserves Fonteva's senior management and operations.

Monotype Acquires Hoefler&Co.
