Stratus Networks Acquires Illinois Fiber Resources Group (iFiber)

Stratus Networks, a Midwest business communications provider backed by private equity firm Novacap, has acquired Illinois Fiber Resources Group (iFiber) to expand its fiber network footprint across northwest Illinois. The deal strengthens Stratus's fiber-based data, voice and cloud services for local businesses and communities and is supported by Novacap as part of its digital infrastructure investment strategy.

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Indiana Fiber Network, LLC d/b/a Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN), adding more than 5,000 route miles of dense fiber and on‑net connectivity to nearly 1,000 enterprise buildings across Indiana. The deal expands Zayo’s Indiana footprint to over 7,500 route miles and is Zayo’s 46th acquisition and its first under private ownership led by EQT Partners and Digital Colony Partners.
