Zayo Group Acquires Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN)

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Indiana Fiber Network, LLC d/b/a Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN), adding more than 5,000 route miles of dense fiber and on‑net connectivity to nearly 1,000 enterprise buildings across Indiana. The deal expands Zayo’s Indiana footprint to over 7,500 route miles and is Zayo’s 46th acquisition and its first under private ownership led by EQT Partners and Digital Colony Partners.

IQ Fiber, a Jacksonville-based 100% fiber-optic internet provider, has completed the acquisition of Maryland-based ThinkBig Networks, expanding IQ Fiber's footprint into Charles, Kent, Queen Anne's and Harford counties. The deal is supported by additional equity funding from SDC Capital Partners and will see ThinkBig leadership integrated into IQ Fiber as the business is rebranded in 2025 to accelerate network expansion in the Chesapeake region.

SDC Capital Partners Acquires Majority Stake in IQ Fiber

Funds managed by SDC Capital Partners have acquired a majority interest in IQ Fiber, a residential fiber-optic internet provider headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The equity injection will fund IQ Fiber's first-phase network build to pass more than 60,000 homes in the Jacksonville area and support rapid expansion across Northeast Florida.
