In a simultaneous, related transaction, Brown Bear Co. purchased H.A. Mapes' transportation business; Matrix Capital Markets advised H.A. Mapes on the sale.

Majors Management, operating under its MAPCO brand, has completed the acquisition of 35 retail fuel and convenience store locations across Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania from Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (Circle K). The divestiture — required by an FTC consent order — will see the sites rebranded as MAPCO, preserve jobs where possible, and bring MAPCO's MYReward$ loyalty program and local investments to new markets.

Meridian, Idaho-based Jacksons Food Stores Inc. has acquired the retail, wholesale and transportation assets of Hi-Noon Petroleum Inc., a Missoula, Montana-based petroleum marketer, including three convenience stores, 46 dealer accounts and its transportation fleet. The deal transfers ownership of Hi-Noon's assets from owner Dirk Cooper (Hi-Noon Petroleum) to Jacksons, expanding Jacksons' retail and fuel distribution footprint into Montana.
