Rapid7, Inc. acquired Israeli anti-evasion and ransomware-prevention specialist Minerva Labs, Ltd. for approximately $38 million in cash and stock. The acquisition will integrate Minerva's ransomware prevention technology and engineering team into Rapid7's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offerings to expand prevention and orchestration capabilities across endpoints and cloud environments.
