Dominus Capital Acquires Consolidated Equipment Group

Dominus Capital has completed an investment in Consolidated Equipment Group (CEG), a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of attachments for skid-steers, compact tractors and other light-construction equipment. Northstar Capital provided junior debt financing and an equity co-investment to help finance the transaction; terms were not disclosed. Dominus intends to accelerate growth through expanded channel and geographic penetration and add-on acquisitions.

Consolidated Equipment Group, a portfolio company of Dominus Capital, has acquired PRO-DIG, a manufacturer of foundation drilling and piling equipment based in Elwood, Kansas. The deal is the first add-on for the CEG platform under Dominus' ownership as part of a strategic M&A growth plan; PRO-DIG founder Michael Charlton will remain in a leadership role. Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group (SFEG) Acquires Climax Portable Machine Tools (CPMT)

Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group LLC (SFEG), a portfolio company backed by Gladstone Investment Corporation, acquired CPMT Holdings Corp. and its subsidiaries including Climax Portable Machine Tools, Inc. Gladstone Investment Corporation provided additional debt and equity to support the add-on acquisition, which closed on October 19, 2023; the seller was Industrial Growth Partners (IGP).

Peak Rock Capital Affiliate Acquires Aegis Industrial Software

An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital has completed the acquisition of Aegis Industrial Software, a Horsham, Pennsylvania–based provider of FactoryLogix, an IIoT-based manufacturing execution system (MES) used across aerospace & defense, medical devices, consumer electronics, and diversified industrial markets. Aegis' founders will remain shareholders and continue in their management roles while Peak Rock intends to accelerate product investment, geographic expansion, and pursue strategic acquisitions to grow the business.
