COMSovereign Holding Corp. agreed to acquire all equity interests of Skyline Technology Partners, LLC d/b/a Fastback Networks for approximately $14 million in cash and debentures (including convertible debentures). The acquisition adds Fastback's intelligent backhaul radios, operations, customers and a portfolio of patents (65 granted, 12 pending) to COMSovereign's 5G connectivity and wireless backhaul product and IP portfolio, broadening its capabilities for Tier-1 and private 5G deployments.

COMSovereign Acquires Innovation Digital, LLC

COMSovereign Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: COMS), a Dallas-based developer of 4G/5G communications systems, announced the acquisition of Innovation Digital, LLC, a developer of advanced mixed analog/digital signal processing solutions and IP. The deal totals $8.0 million in consideration (approximately $1.6M cash/convertible debt and $6.4M in restricted common stock), brings a portfolio of 21+ U.S. patents, is expected to contribute roughly $3M in licensing revenue this year, and names Dr. Scott Velasquez as COMSovereign's Chief Research Officer.

PolyOne Acquires PlastiComp

PolyOne Corporation acquired PlastiComp, an advanced engineered materials innovator known for long fiber thermoplastic (LFT) composite formulations. The Winona, Minnesota facility and approximately 50 employees join PolyOne’s Specialty Engineered Materials segment to expand its advanced composites capabilities and accelerate commercial and operational investments in LFT technology.

Foam Fabricators Acquires Substantially All Assets of Polyfoam Corp.

Foam Fabricators, a Compass Diversified Holdings-backed packaging platform, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts-based Polyfoam Corp., expanding Foam Fabricators' protective and temperature-sensitive packaging capabilities and geographic footprint. The deal adds Polyfoam's cold-chain and injection-molded plastic capabilities and enables cross-selling to national customers while Foam Fabricators also announced a partnership with Rational Packaging and commercialization of a biodegradable EPS product.

KB Components AB Acquires Certain Assets of Post Meridiem Plastics Ltd. (PM Plastics)

Swedish manufacturer KB Components AB acquired certain assets from Post Meridiem Plastics Ltd. (PM Plastics), a Windsor, Ontario-based producer of highly engineered plastic injection-molded components. The asset purchase expands KB’s manufacturing footprint and capabilities in North America; PM Plastics operates a 31,000 sq. ft. facility with 26 injection molding presses and offers services including two-shot molding, over-molding, insert molding and ultrasonic welding.

Alora Pharmaceuticals Subsidiary Sovereign Acquires Monarch PCM Manufacturing Assets

Alora Pharmaceuticals' wholly owned subsidiary, Sovereign Pharmaceuticals, acquired substantially all manufacturing capabilities of Monarch PCM, LLC in Fort Worth, Texas through bankruptcy proceedings, closing on January 4, 2022. The deal adds 60,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and approximately 48 employees, expanding Sovereign's solid, semi-solid and liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity.
