PDI Technologies Acquires Comdata Merchant Solutions

PDI Technologies has acquired the Comdata Merchant Solutions business from Corpay Inc., taking ownership of the POS hardware, software and site-level systems that serve truck stops and unattended commercial fueling locations. Corpay (Comdata) will retain its fuel card and merchant acceptance network, while PDI will become an approved provider of Comdata transactions and invest in expanding the POS capabilities.

LDC Backs Management Buyout of Phoenix Datacom

LDC has backed a management buyout of Buckinghamshire-based network performance and security specialist Phoenix Datacom, partnering with the company’s management team led by John Carson. The investment will fund expansion of Phoenix Datacom’s hardware, software and services offerings, support growth (the company reported revenue of more than £20m for FY ending March 2020) and enable the team to pursue complementary acquisitions.

Digital Realty Acquires Majority Stake in Teraco Data Environments

Digital Realty has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Teraco Data Environments, Africa's largest carrier‑neutral data center and interconnection provider. Berkshire Partners and Permira are selling the majority of their respective stakes but will retain minority interests alongside existing investor van Rooyen Group; Teraco's management will remain significant investors. The transaction is subject to customary South African regulatory approvals and was expected to close in H1 2022.
