Colson Group, a global manufacturer of casters and wheels backed by Blue Wolf Capital, has acquired ESCO Plastics, a Houston-area manufacturer of custom-molded polyurethane parts. The deal strengthens Colson's North American urethane manufacturing capabilities, shortens lead times, and expands its engineering and distribution footprint to better serve industrial OEM customers.

Blue Bell Mattress Acquires Wolf Corp.

Independent mattress manufacturer Blue Bell Mattress has acquired Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Wolf Corp., a vertically integrated bedding, futon and cotton batting producer, adding approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The deal (terms undisclosed) includes the factory, intellectual property, trademarks and book of customers; Wolf's CEO Tony Wolf will remain as a consultant and the Indiana factory's 35 employees are expected to grow.

Colson Group Acquires ARBCO Industries

Colson Group Holdings has acquired ARBCO Industries, LLC, a 56-year-old Export, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer and leading North American producer of phenolic wheels. The acquisition expands Colson Group's product portfolio and U.S. manufacturing footprint; ARBCO's former owner Paul Hauck will join Colson as Director of Operations for ARBCO.

Blue Wolf Capital Acquires Sterling Site Access Solutions

Blue Wolf Capital Partners has acquired Sterling Site Access Solutions, a vertically integrated North American provider of temporary ground protection and site access services. Sterling, founded in 1949 and headquartered in Phoenix, Illinois with manufacturing in Phoenix, IL and Lufkin, TX, serves power transmission & distribution, civil infrastructure, and energy customers; Blue Wolf intends to expand the company's capabilities and accelerate growth. Terms were not disclosed.

Conco Services Acquires Blue Wolf Performance Solutions

Conco Services LLC, a portfolio company backed by Rising Point Capital (and supported by Tecum Capital, UMB Capital Corporation, and Unity Hunt), acquired Blue Wolf Performance Solutions and its subsidiaries from Dorilton Capital Management. The deal, which closed May 26, 2023, folds Blue Wolf’s specialist industrial cleaning and heat-exchanger service lines into Conco to broaden capabilities and expand Conco’s service offering and geographic footprint.

Blue Wolf Capital Acquires Majority Stake in TGW (Holdings) Limited

An affiliate of Blue Wolf Capital Fund IV has acquired a majority stake in TGW (Holdings) Limited, a Sheffield‑founded industrial knife manufacturer with operations in the United Kingdom, United States and India. Blue Wolf said it will partner with TGW's existing management to invest in new products and grow the business while founders Richard Wolstenholme and Jeff Litmer transition oversight to the current management team.
