Blue Bell Mattress Acquires Wolf Corp.

Independent mattress manufacturer Blue Bell Mattress has acquired Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Wolf Corp., a vertically integrated bedding, futon and cotton batting producer, adding approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The deal (terms undisclosed) includes the factory, intellectual property, trademarks and book of customers; Wolf's CEO Tony Wolf will remain as a consultant and the Indiana factory's 35 employees are expected to grow.
