Saatva Merges with Bedding Industries of America

Saatva has entered into a merger with Bedding Industries of America (BIA), bringing BIA’s manufacturing footprint and licensing portfolio under Saatva’s control to create greater end-to-end supply chain ownership. TZP Group will maintain its investment in Saatva; financial terms were not disclosed. The combination is intended to expand manufacturing capabilities, create operational efficiencies, and accelerate growth for Saatva’s DTC and showroom business.

HaystackID Acquires Business Intelligence Associates (BIA)

HaystackID, a PE-backed eDiscovery services firm, has acquired Business Intelligence Associates (BIA) to expand its enterprise eDiscovery, managed services, and New York market capabilities. The deal was facilitated by HaystackID's majority investor Quad-C Management and strengthens HaystackID's offerings in cyber discovery, incident response, privacy/compliance, and information governance.

Overstock Acquires Bed Bath & Beyond Brand and Intellectual Property

Overstock.com, Inc. acquired certain intellectual property assets of the Bed Bath & Beyond banner from Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. in a U.S. Bankruptcy Court‑supervised sale for $21.5 million in cash. The purchase (which excludes store leases, inventory, warehousing and logistics) gives Overstock the Bed Bath & Beyond domains, trademarks, customer database and loyalty data and will be integrated into Overstock’s online business and loyalty program to expand its consumer reach and brand presence.

3Z Brands Acquires Leesa Sleep

3Z Brands, a vertically-integrated mattress manufacturer and DTC brand platform, has acquired Leesa Sleep, a direct-to-consumer mattress company founded in Virginia Beach. The deal expands 3Z's portfolio of sleep brands and strengthens its manufacturing and digital capabilities as part of an ongoing roll-up strategy backed by private equity.

Blue Bell Mattress Acquires Wolf Corp.

Independent mattress manufacturer Blue Bell Mattress has acquired Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Wolf Corp., a vertically integrated bedding, futon and cotton batting producer, adding approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The deal (terms undisclosed) includes the factory, intellectual property, trademarks and book of customers; Wolf's CEO Tony Wolf will remain as a consultant and the Indiana factory's 35 employees are expected to grow.

Purple Innovation Acquires Intellibed
