Artemis Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, has acquired Tekscan, Inc., a manufacturer of flexible ultra-thin tactile force and pressure sensors. Tekscan will continue to operate as an independent company from its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, and Artemis said it will partner with the company to drive strategic growth and further innovation across Tekscan's medical, dental, test & measurement, and retail end markets.

Teledyne Technologies Acquires DD-Scientific

Teledyne Technologies has acquired DD-Scientific Holdings Limited (and its subsidiary DD-Scientific Limited), a U.K.-based developer and manufacturer of electrochemical gas sensors headquartered in Fareham. The acquisition adds lead-free electrochemical sensor technology to Teledyne's sensor and instrumentation portfolio to support customers across industrial safety, medical, and environmental monitoring markets; financial terms were not disclosed.
