Sirius XM Radio Inc., a subsidiary of SiriusXM Holdings Inc., has acquired Cloud Cover Media, Inc., the operator of Cloud Cover Music, a subscription music-for-business platform. The acquisition expands SiriusXM's commercial music offerings by adding Cloud Cover Music's tech platform, licensing capabilities and enterprise account team to SiriusXM Music for Business and Pandora for Business.

Liberty Media Completes Split-Off and Merger to Create Independent Sirius XM Holdings Inc.

Liberty Media completed the split-off of Liberty Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (New Sirius) and effected a merger in which a wholly owned subsidiary of New Sirius merged with and into Sirius XM Inc., leaving Old Sirius as a wholly owned subsidiary of New Sirius. The reorganization results in New Sirius (renamed Sirius XM Holdings Inc.) becoming an independent, publicly traded company listed on Nasdaq under the symbol SIRI.

Insignia Capital Group Acquires Oxford Road and Veritone One

Insignia Capital Group has acquired two audio and creator-based advertising agencies, Oxford Road and Veritone One, combining them to form a leading global podcast and creator-based media entity. Veritone One (the media agency business of Veritone, Inc.) was sold for up to $104 million (including up to $18 million in earn-out), while terms for Oxford Road were not disclosed; both agencies will operate independently near-term with plans to integrate to deliver scale, data capabilities, and creator-led advertising services.

Spotify Acquires Podz to Boost Podcast Discovery
