The add-on expands Oliver’s geographic reach, capacity and design-forward packaging capabilities for customers in food & beverage, beauty, confection and consumer goods markets.

Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Oliver Packaging and Equipment

Oliver will continue to be led by CEO Mitch Summerfield and will operate as an independent platform with Monomoy supporting organic growth and pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions to expand products, customers and end markets.

Oliver Inc., a portfolio company of Pfingsten, acquired Boutwell, Owens & Co., a manufacturer of folding carton and blister card packaging, in a transaction that closed March 31, 2021. The add-on expands Oliver’s manufacturing capacity and reach into personal care, healthcare, food & beverage and consumer product end markets while Boutwell will continue operating from its Fitchburg, Massachusetts facility.

Inno-Pak (Emerald Lake-backed) Acquires Albany Packaging

Inno-Pak LLC, a portfolio company of Emerald Lake Capital Management, has acquired Albany Packaging Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of folding paperboard cartons. The deal (terms not disclosed) expands Inno-Pak's North American manufacturing footprint and paperboard capacity, strengthening its capabilities in foodservice, grocery and convenience-store packaging.

ProMach Acquires Modern Packaging
