Charlotte Pipe and Neenah Foundry Acquire Bingham & Taylor

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company, together with its subsidiary Neenah Foundry Company, have acquired Bingham & Taylor (also referenced as Bingham 26 Taylor), a 175-year-old manufacturer of meter and valve access products for water and gas utilities. The acquisition brings Bingham & Taylor's cast iron and plastics manufacturing capabilities into the buyers' waterworks portfolio while keeping the Bingham & Taylor brand and operations in Culpeper, Virginia.

Neenah, Inc. Acquires Vectorply Corporation

Neenah, Inc. agreed to acquire Vectorply Corporation from MSouth Equity Partners for $155 million in cash. Vectorply, a Phenix City, Alabama-based manufacturer of high-performance composite reinforcement fabrics with annual sales over $70 million, will broaden Neenah's technical products platform and is expected to close April 1, 2020.

Grede Acquires Neenah Enterprises' Commercial Vehicle Business and Advanced Cast Products (ACP)

Grede has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Neenah Enterprises, Inc.'s commercial vehicle business, select industrial book of business and the Advanced Cast Products (ACP) operations in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The acquisition (expected to close in Q3 2021) adds ~220 ACP employees and expands Grede's casting and machining capabilities to better serve commercial vehicle, automotive and industrial OEM customers; terms were not disclosed.

Core & Main Acquires HM Pipe Products to Enter Canadian Market

Core & Main Inc. has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of HM Pipe Products (including HM Pipe Products Kitchener), a Canadian distributor of water and wastewater products operating in London and Kitchener, Ontario. The acquisition expands Core & Main's footprint into Canada and is intended to leverage HM Pipe Products' local market knowledge and customer relationships to serve Canadian municipal and contractor waterworks markets.

Charter Manufacturing Acquires Aarrowcast from Industrial Opportunity Partners

Charter Manufacturing Company, a family-owned metals manufacturer, has acquired Aarrowcast, Inc., a Shawano, Wisconsin-based foundry, from Industrial Opportunity Partners. Terms were not disclosed; Aarrowcast casts ductile, gray and austempered ductile iron components for agriculture, off-highway heavy truck, military and construction markets.

Ferguson Enterprises Acquires Independent Pipe & Supply and National Fire (Equipment & Fabrication)

Ferguson Enterprises has closed two bolt-on acquisitions: Independent Pipe & Supply Corp., a PVF and commercial plumbing distributor based in Canton, Massachusetts, and National Fire Equipment Ltd. and National Fire Fabrication Ltd., a Toronto-based fire protection products and fabrication business. The deals expand Ferguson's commercial plumbing and mechanical footprint in New England and strengthen its Fire & Fabrication capabilities and presence in Canada.
