Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has partnered with Keltec Technolab Inc., a Twinsburg, Ohio manufacturer of aftermarket compressed-air filtration components, to support the company's next phase of growth. The Kaiser family is retaining a significant ownership stake and will continue to lead Keltec; debt financing was provided by Apogem Capital and terms were not disclosed.

KCM Capital and Gemini Investors Acquire Tekleen (Automatic Filters, Inc.)

Chicago-based private investment firm KCM Capital Partners, together with Boston-based Gemini Investors and other strategic partners, acquired the assets of Automatic Filters, Inc. (doing business as Tekleen), a Los Angeles–based maker of automatic self‑cleaning water filtration equipment. The transaction establishes a new platform investment for KCM in the commercial water filtration industry and includes the appointment of Syed Shah as CEO to drive growth and add-on acquisition activity.

Micronics (Vance Street-backed) Acquires SOLAFT Filtration Solutions

Vance Street Capital’s portfolio company Micronics Engineered Filtration Group has acquired Solaft Filtration Solutions, a vertically integrated global industrial filtration solutions provider with manufacturing and R&D operations across Australia, Brazil, China and India. The deal expands Micronics’ engineered filtration product portfolio and geographic footprint, enhancing its ability to serve demanding end markets such as mining, power generation and water/wastewater treatment.

KESTREL Vision (and CVL 3 Americas) Acquire FILTEC from SFW Capital Partners

SFW Capital Partners has completed the sale of Industrial Dynamics Co., Ltd. (dba FILTEC), a Torrance, California-based provider of in-line inspection instrumentation for the global beverage and food industries, to a corporate acquirer identified in some reports as KESTREL Vision (with other sources referencing CVL 3 Americas). Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction transfers FILTEC out of SFW’s portfolio after a period of product investment, go-to-market changes, and global service expansion.

Fumex CEO Kevin East is reinvesting and will remain in place; Vance Street plans to support product development, organic growth and pursue strategic M&A opportunities to expand the business.
