Change Healthcare acquired PROMETHEUS Analytics from Altarum to bring the industry-standard episode-of-care definitions and value-based payment analytics into its HealthQX value-based care platform. The acquisition is intended to accelerate adoption of value-based reimbursement models by giving payers and provider networks integrated analytics to optimize payment models, evaluate provider performance and improve network efficiency.
