SMART Global Holdings Acquires Stratus Technologies from Siris Capital

SMART Global Holdings, Inc. (SGH) has acquired Stratus Technologies from affiliates of Siris Capital Group for $225 million in cash plus an earn-out of up to $50 million based on post-close gross profit performance. Stratus will operate within SGH's Intelligent Platform Solutions group, with Dave Laurello continuing to lead the business and support SGH's expansion of high-availability Edge, Core, and Cloud computing offerings.
