Encore, a global event production and technology company headquartered in Schiller Park, Illinois, has acquired Eclipse, a Beckenham, United Kingdom–based creative technical production firm founded in 1988. The acquisition strengthens Encore's presence and capabilities in the UK market—adding Eclipse's production, scenic and in-house creative expertise and venue relationships with London hotels and stadiums.

Accenture Acquires SYSTEMA

Accenture has acquired SYSTEMA, a Dresden-based provider of software solutions and consulting services for manufacturing automation, including deep expertise with semiconductor manufacturers. The SYSTEMA team of more than 240 employees will join Accenture's Industry X practice to expand Accenture's manufacturing automation, MES integration and industrial data/analytics capabilities in Germany and Europe; terms were not disclosed.

The deal (terms not disclosed) brings more than 4,200 engineers and consultants across 17 countries into Accenture's Industry X practice to expand its engineering, digital and sustainability capabilities across automotive, aerospace & defense, telecommunications and energy markets.
