Sugar Foods, a Pritzker Private Capital–backed food company, has acquired Concord Foods, adding Concord’s brands and a 255,000 sq. ft. Brockton, Massachusetts facility to Sugar Foods’ North American footprint. Terms were not disclosed; Concord was previously owned by Arbor Investments, its founders and management. The deal is intended to expand Sugar Foods’ capabilities, capacity and product offerings across retail and foodservice channels.

ACON Investments Acquires Majority Stake in Siex 2001, S.L.

(SIEX), a Burgos, Spain–headquartered designer, certifier, manufacturer and distributor of gas-based fire suppression systems. The company's founders will remain in leadership roles; ACON's investment is intended to support product development, geographic expansion and growth into new verticals.

ACON Investments' affiliate ACON Latin America Opportunities Fund V (ALAOF V), alongside co-investors, closed a minority investment to acquire up to 15% of Corporación Actinver, S.A.B. de C.V. The capital will be used to strengthen Actinver's balance sheet and accelerate the growth of its digital products and services while supporting the company's management team and expansion across Mexico.

ACON Investments Acquires Majority Stake in Sola de Antequera (Alsur)

ACON Investments, together with Madrid-based Quarza Inversiones, acquired a majority stake in Sola de Antequera S.A. (Alsur), a producer, processor and distributor of preserved and canned vegetables with production facilities in Spain and Peru and sales across Spain and the United States. The Jiménez Family and Mario Mustafá Aguinaga retain a significant minority stake; ACON said the strategy will focus on expanding Alsur's footprint in Spain and accelerating growth into the U.S.
