Acuity Brands, Inc. acquired LocusLabs, Inc., a provider of indoor mapping and location-platform software, to integrate LocusLabs' venue mapping and wayfinding capabilities with Acuity's Atrius IoT and building solutions. The acquisition is intended to enable rapid indoor positioning, wayfinding, asset tracking and analytics for airports, event centers and large multi-floor venues; terms were not disclosed and the deal was not expected to materially affect Acuity Brands' fiscal 2020 results.

Acuity Brands to Acquire KE2 Therm Solutions

Acuity Brands, Inc. announced a definitive agreement to acquire KE2 Therm Solutions, Inc., which develops and provides intelligent refrigeration control solutions. The transaction is expected to close in spring 2023, when KE2 Therm will begin integrating into Distech Controls within Acuity’s Intelligent Spaces Group segment.

MSQ Acquires New York Creative Agency SPCSHP

London-based MSQ has acquired New York-based creative agency SPCSHP (formerly Big Spaceship), adding roughly 140 employees and more than doubling MSQ's U.S. presence and North American revenues to $100 million. The deal, backed by private equity partners One Equity Partners and LDC, expands MSQ's capabilities and scale in North America and integrates SPCSHP into MSQ's global network of creative, media and technology agencies.

Qualtrics Acquires Clarabridge
