AD Ports Group Acquires Noatum to Build a Global Logistics Platform

AD Ports Group acquired Noatum, a global integrated logistics platform operating across logistics, maritime services, and port terminals, in a deal valued at AED 2.5 billion for 100% ownership. Subject to regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in H1 2023 and Noatum will lead AD Ports Group’s Logistics Cluster to expand the group’s international logistics and maritime footprint.

DP World via P&O Maritime Logistics Acquires 51% of NovaAlgoma Cement Assets (NACC)

NovaAlgoma Cement Carriers Limited, a joint venture between Algoma Central Corporation and Nova Marine Holdings, entered a definitive agreement under which P&O Maritime Logistics (POML), a DP World wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire a 51% controlling stake in NovaAlgoma’s wholly owned cement assets. NovaAlgoma will retain a 49% minority interest through a new entity based in Dubai (NACC), with no expected changes to day-to-day vessel operations and fleet management teams.
