CEMEX USA has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets of Atlantic Minerals Limited in Newfoundland, including a construction and chemical-grade aggregates quarry and associated port operations. The acquisition secures a long-term aggregates reserve to support CEMEX's Florida and Eastern U.S. operations and strengthen its aggregates supply chain.

DP World (DP World Logistics FZE) Acquires Imperial Logistics Limited

DP World, through DP World Logistics FZE, has completed its acquisition of 100% of Imperial Logistics Limited after satisfying all conditions precedent; the transaction became unconditional and was implemented on 14 March 2022 with Imperial to be delisted from the JSE. The deal expands DP World's logistics and market-access capabilities across Africa by combining DP World's port infrastructure and global network with Imperial's African footprint, end-to-end logistics services and customer base.

Algoma Central Corporation to Acquire Mainstay Maritime’s Canadian Great Lakes Fleet

Algoma Central Corporation (TSX: ALC) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mainstay Maritime Inc.’s three Canadian operating companies and a fleet of six Canadian-flagged vessels. The deal includes Lower Lakes Towing Ltd. and the vessels Kaministiqua, Manitoulin, Robert S. Pierson, Saginaw, Michipicoten, and Valo, and is expected to close in Q1 2026 (subject to customary closing conditions).

Cobalt Wine Logistics (Alba Wheels Up) Acquires North Coast Logistics, Inc.

Alba Wheels Up’s Cobalt Wine Logistics business unit, backed by private equity sponsor Southfield Capital, has acquired North Coast Logistics, Inc., a Petaluma-based wine consolidation and distribution specialist. The add-on expands Cobalt/Alba’s domestic over-the-road transportation and distribution capabilities, integrating NCL into Cobalt’s Napa warehousing and international logistics platform.

Konecranes Acquires Peinemann Port Services and Peinemann Container Handling

Finnish material-handling manufacturer Konecranes has acquired two subsidiaries of the Peinemann group — Peinemann Port Services and Peinemann Container Handling — expanding its service and sales presence in the Netherlands, particularly in the Port of Rotterdam. The deal brings roughly 100 employees into Konecranes, will not affect distribution arrangements outside the Netherlands, and supports Konecranes' plans to broaden services and accelerate electrification of lift trucks in a key market.

Hapag-Lloyd Acquires Stake in J M Baxi Ports & Logistics from Bain Capital Private Equity Affiliate

German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd has acquired the stake in Indian maritime logistics provider J M Baxi Ports & Logistics from a Bain Capital Private Equity affiliate. The sale, whose financial terms were not disclosed, transfers ownership following Bain's two-year investment that expanded J M Baxi's port capacity and logistics footprint across India. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
