Acorn HoldCo/ADTRAN Agrees to Takeover of ADVA Optical Networking SE

Acorn HoldCo, Inc., in connection with ADTRAN, launched a voluntary public takeover offer for ADVA Optical Networking SE, securing 65.43% of ADVA shares via an exchange of Acorn HoldCo common stock. Acorn HoldCo intends to implement a domination and profit and loss transfer agreement to integrate ADVA with ADTRAN and realize operational synergies prior to year-end 2022.

Advantage Solutions Acquires Quantum Networks

The acquisition brings Quantum's Amazon/marketplace selling and brand-management capabilities into Advantage Digital Technology to expand Advantage's omnichannel e-commerce and digital services offering; terms were not disclosed.

Keysight Technologies to Acquire Synopsys Optical Solutions Group

Keysight Technologies entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Synopsys’ Optical Solutions Group, a developer of optical design and analysis software tools. The deal expands Keysight’s design engineering software portfolio for optical systems design, analysis, simulation, and virtual prototyping, and is expected to close in the first half of 2025 subject to customary approvals and conditions, including regulatory review of Synopsys’ pending acquisition of Ansys.
