AIT Worldwide Logistics acquired Los Angeles–based freight forwarder Unitrans International Corporation in a deal that AIT called its largest to date. The acquisition adds specialized international logistics capabilities and strengthened trade-lane expertise in Asia and Europe; terms were not disclosed.
