Altair (Nasdaq: ALTR) has acquired Ellexus, a Cambridge-based developer of I/O analysis tools (Mistral and Breeze) for high-performance computing environments. Altair will integrate Ellexus' technology into its PBS Works storage-aware scheduling capabilities to enhance performance, cloud readiness, and storage diagnostics for HPC, data analytics, AI and ADAS workloads.

Abry Partners Acquires Aker Systems Stake from LDC

Founded in 2017, Aker Systems builds and operates ultra-secure public cloud environments and advanced data infrastructure platforms and will look to continue growth under Abry's ownership.

Azelis Agrees to Acquire Haarla Oy

Azelis has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Haarla Oy, a Finland-based specialty distributor of food ingredients and industrial chemicals. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Azelis’ position in the Nordics by expanding its product portfolio and customer/principal relationships, with closing expected by the end of 2024 after customary conditions.

ICAPE Group Acquires ALR Services Ltd.

The ICAPE Group has acquired 100% of ALR Services Ltd., a UK-based printed circuit board (PCB) distributor. The acquisition gives ICAPE a direct footprint in the United Kingdom, adds a portfolio of ~300 EMS and OEM customers and expected 2024 revenue of ~£2.5m; the deal was financed in cash and will be consolidated from January 1, 2025.
