Allworth Financial Acquires Shorepoint Capital Partners

Allworth Financial, a national registered investment advisor backed by Lightyear Capital and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board, has acquired Norwood, Massachusetts-based Shorepoint Capital Partners, which manages approximately $850 million in assets. The deal brings Shorepoint’s 10-person team and expanded UHNW investment capabilities to Allworth as the firm cements its Boston presence and expands its alternative investment and advisory offerings.
