Garmin Ltd. has acquired TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic, digital training platforms that connect athletes with coaches and provide structured programs, performance data, and training insights. The deal is intended to expand Garmin’s fitness ecosystem across endurance and strength/performance training and enable more customizable coaching experiences for athletes. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Garda Group Acquires Heras from Equistone Partners Europe

Garda Group has reached a conditional agreement to acquire Heras from Equistone Partners Europe. Heras, headquartered in Oirschot, Netherlands, is an end-to-end supplier of permanent and mobile perimeter protection solutions with around 1,000 employees and operations across Europe; the acquisition expands Garda Group's footprint into the UK, Benelux and France. The transaction is subject to works council consultation and regulatory clearances.

L Catterton-led Consortium Acquires Controlling Interest in Truck Hero

A consortium led by consumer-focused private equity firm L Catterton — including a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Mubadala Investment Company and StepStone Group — has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in Truck Hero, Inc. CCMP Capital and Truck Hero founder/CEO Bill Reminder will remain meaningful investors. Truck Hero, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded aftermarket truck and Jeep accessories and operates the direct-to-consumer site RealTruck.com; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2021.

Truck Hero Acquires Lund International
