Applied Industrial Technologies acquired Gibson Engineering Company, Inc., a Norwood, Massachusetts-based provider of automation products, services, and engineered solutions focused on machine vision, motion control, robotics, and intelligent sensors. Gibson’s team of more than 40 associates will expand Applied’s automation capabilities and footprint across the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic; terms were not disclosed.
