AQUA Dermatology, a PE-backed dermatology platform, has entered into a partnership to bring First Coast Mohs — a Jacksonville-based dermatology and skin cancer specialist group — into the AQUA network. The deal expands AQUA's presence in Florida (adding four facilities in the Jacksonville area) and brings specialized Mohs surgical capability to the platform; Dr. Scott Warren will continue to lead the practice and reinvest a portion of his proceeds into AQUA.

The practice will retain its name and physicians Dr. Scott Freeman and Dr. Ryan Ramagosa will remain in leadership and reinvest a portion of proceeds; financial terms were not disclosed.

The practice — led by Dr. Raj Patel — will continue to operate under the True Dermatology name, with Dr. Patel reinvesting a portion of proceeds; the deal expands AQUA's surgical dermatology capabilities and makes it the largest dermatology practice in Alabama.
