Ares Infrastructure Funds Acquire Majority Stake in Apex Clean Energy

Ares Management Corporation’s Infrastructure and Power strategy, through funds and other accounts, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Apex Clean Energy. The investment is intended to provide Apex with additional equity growth capital as it transitions to a pure-play renewable energy independent power producer (IPP) and expands into areas such as energy storage, distributed energy resources, and green fuels.
