Henkel has signed an agreement to acquire US-based Seal for Life Industries LLC from private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners. Seal for Life is a global supplier of protective coating and sealing solutions with ~€250m of sales in 2023 and more than 650 employees; the acquisition strengthens Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business and expands its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions and protective-coatings capabilities.

Terms were not disclosed; Polycorp (headquartered in Elora, Ontario) employs ~250 people and founder Peter Snucins will remain an investor and board member as the company pursues manufacturing, R&D and strategic growth initiatives.

Abenex-backed Origin Seal Acquires Interseal

Seal For Life (Arsenal) Acquires Mascoat and Verdia

Both targets are privately held U.S. manufacturers based in Texas and will be integrated into the Seal For Life platform to broaden capabilities and market reach.

Arsenal Capital Partners has acquired AvCarb Material Solutions, a Lowell, Massachusetts-based manufacturer of engineered carbon components used in fuel cells, electrolyzers, flow batteries and industrial applications. Arsenal said the investment will support AvCarb's capacity expansion, international growth, and continued development of proprietary carbon-based materials; terms were not disclosed.
