The Mosaic Company has acquired Plant Response, Inc., a biologics-focused crop inputs consolidator, to form Mosaic Biosciences and expand Mosaic’s plant-health product offerings. Plant Response — which brought together multiple biologics businesses and a portfolio of commercialized products — was backed by a group of strategic and venture investors prior to the acquisition.
