Novvia Group has acquired the container distribution division of Andicor Specialty Chemicals (to be rebranded Novvia Group Canada). The acquisition expands Novvia's North American footprint in rigid packaging distribution and is backed by Kelso & Company; financial terms were not disclosed.

Kingswood Capital Management Acquires Corbion's Emulsifiers Business (PATCO Products)

Kingswood Capital Management has acquired Corbion’s emulsifiers business (formerly Caravan Emulsifiers) for approximately $326 million; the business will operate as PATCO Products, LLC and remain headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. The carve-out includes two U.S. manufacturing plants (about 175 employees) and provides emulsifiers for food, personal care, polymer additives, pet food and pharmaceutical markets; Corbion said the divestment lets it focus on fermentation-based technologies.

Kaman Distribution Group Acquires Integro Technologies

Kaman Distribution Group (KDG) has acquired Integro Technologies, a Salisbury, North Carolina-based machine vision integrator and inspection company with over 50 employees and 30 degreed engineers. Integro will join KDG’s Kaman Automation business unit, expanding KDG’s machine vision, robotics and turnkey inspection capabilities across industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, automotive and aerospace; KDG is a portfolio company of Littlejohn & Co., LLC.

Motion Industries (Genuine Parts Company) Acquires Kaman Distribution Group for $1.3B

Motion Industries, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, agreed to acquire Kaman Distribution Group from Littlejohn & Co. for approximately $1.3 billion in cash. KDG, headquartered in Bloomfield, Connecticut, operates ~220 locations with ~1,700 employees and is expected to generate roughly $1.1 billion of revenue in 2022; the deal is expected to close in Q1 2022 and deliver $50M+ of run-rate synergies.

MKD Electric Acquires Powercor Services

MKD Electric, a PE-backed industrial electrical services platform, has acquired Powercor Services, a Power Design & Control Systems Integrator based in Sterling, Virginia. The deal is an add-on to the MKD platform (backed by Hastings Equity Partners) and aims to expand MKD's turnkey electrical and systems-integration capabilities across data centers, renewables, parcel distribution and industrial end markets.

NorthMarq Acquires Kinghorn, Driver, Hough & Co. (KDH)

NorthMarq, a Minneapolis-based commercial real estate capital markets firm, has acquired Houston-based Kinghorn, Driver, Hough & Co. (KDH). The deal adds KDH’s mortgage banking professionals and a nearly $2 billion loan servicing portfolio, expanding NorthMarq’s Houston presence and increasing its servicing portfolio to more than $60 billion.
