The Riverside Company has signed a definitive agreement to invest in iCEV, a Lubbock, Texas–based developer of SaaS-based digital curriculum, instructional materials and certification testing for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) market. Riverside said it will leverage its Education & Training platform to expand iCEV's content and capabilities through organic growth and M&A initiatives.

iCEV Acquires K-12 and Post-Secondary Assets of Today's Class

iCEV has acquired the K-12 and post-secondary digital curriculum assets of Today's Class, adding Automotive and Cosmetology courses to its Career & Technical Education (CTE) platform. The deal is an add-on to iCEV’s platform following a strategic investment from The Riverside Company, which backs iCEV to expand its digital curriculum and certification offerings.

The Riverside Company has acquired Applied Educational Systems (AES), a Lancaster, Pennsylvania–based provider of digital career and technical education curriculum. AES will be integrated as an add-on to Riverside’s iCEV platform to expand iCEV’s SaaS-based K–12 and career-technical curriculum offerings and broaden reach across U.S. schools and career centers.

iEducation Group Acquires Futures Academy

iEducation Group (formerly Fusion Education Group), a Leeds Equity Partners–backed operator of one-to-one private schools, has acquired Futures Academy, a California-based one-to-one secondary school operator. The combination expands iEducation's personalized learning platform and brings Futures' 16 California campuses into the iEducation portfolio; Futures had previously been backed by Crane Street Capital.

Emeritus/Eruditus Acquires iD Tech for $200M

Emeritus, via its parent company Eruditus, has agreed to acquire iD Tech, the global leader in youth STEM education, for $200 million. The deal expands Emeritus into K–12 STEM education while iD Tech will continue to operate independently and retain its instructors and staff.
