LAZ Parking Acquires 60% Stake in INDIGO Park Canada

LAZ Parking has acquired a 60% majority stake in INDIGO Park Canada Inc., creating North America's largest tech-driven parking, transportation, and mobility company. The deal reunites LAZ and the INDIGO Group, expands LAZ's footprint to more than 5,300 locations and 2 million parking spaces across North America, and will preserve IPC’s leadership under CEO John Laires; Argo Infrastructure Partners is an investor in LAZ and supported the transaction.

LAZ Parking, headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, is a large U.S. parking operator and parking-technology provider operating thousands of locations across dozens of states.

LAZ Parking Acquires Serco Parking Services

LAZ Parking has acquired Serco Parking Services, the parking enforcement and parking meter management business of Serco Inc., in a deal that closed May 1, 2021. The transaction adds roughly 230 employees, increases LAZ's managed metered spaces by 40,000 (doubling meter revenue to nearly $300 million annually), and expands LAZ's capabilities and West Coast presence.

Alta Equipment Group Acquires PeakLogix

Alta Equipment Group Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PeakLogix, a Midlothian, Virginia-based material handling systems integrator that designs and installs warehouse automation and storage systems. The acquisition expands Alta's materials handling capabilities and geographic footprint; PeakLogix generated about $25 million in revenue and $2 million in operating income in FY2019. Terms were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to close by the end of June, subject to customary conditions.

Traffic and Parking Control Co. (TAPCO) Acquires Logix ITS

Traffic and Parking Control Co., LLC (TAPCO), a Peak Rock Capital–backed provider of intelligent transportation systems, has acquired Logix ITS, the parent behind Traffic Logix, All Traffic Solutions and Parking Logix. The deal combines TAPCO’s vertically integrated manufacturing, distribution and services with Logix ITS’s hardware and cloud platform to create a broader connected-ITS offering serving thousands of devices and more than 4,000 municipal, law enforcement and commercial customers across the U.S. and Canada.

Cox Automotive Acquires FleetNet America

Cox Automotive has acquired FleetNet America from ArcBest, combining Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Operations with FleetNet’s emergency mobile services, mobile truck repair, towing and preventative maintenance capabilities. The deal expands Cox’s fleet-service footprint and service-provider network across North America, bringing together proprietary technology, data insights and a nationwide service network to maximize fleet uptime.
